1 | How to know God just from seeing nature? | Rom 1:20 | Makarios | 26413
Greetings Sir Pent! Yes, a certain bedroom does come to mind.. :-) One that is big enough to house and accomodate a boy, yet small enough for us to realize that matter does indeed take up space.. Hasn't it been scientifically proven that everything is in a state of 'decay', however small or rapid that rate may be? If this is so, then we can only conclude that at one point, everything was "new" and perfect! And if this is so, then everything must have also had a "beginning" or source! And only one Eternal Power could have spoken such a 'beginning' into existence, since everything that is made by humans has been remanufactured by something else that was already in state of 'depreciation'.. Sometimes I wish that this "law" was not true, though, since it would save me from getting a new car every five years or so.. :-) But even this points to a "grand design" by a Sovereign power or Creator. Blessings to you, Nolan |

2 | How to know God just from seeing nature? | Rom 1:20 | Sir Pent | 26418
Dear Nolan, You are correct that it is almost universally accepted in science that everything is in a state of decay. You also wisely conclude that it implies that things were once in a state of perfection. This is not necessarily the case, but it is more likely than any other assumptions to choose from. |
