Hi Mike, it's a nice question that u have arises See u r thing from this world perspective..... We human thing whatever is visible is only a sin but there are many thing like that that we have to rethink if you want to become born again ...... One thing i want to say whatever you do there is some intention and that intention should be pure. So naturally when we thing about masturbate we think of certain person who might be or not be your's. One thing i like to mention that don't waste your resources that is given my GOd for particular purpose. For We are the steward of the body not a owner i.e..GOD |

3 | is masterbation a sin | Rom 12:1 | pberardi | 194888
Jesus speaks of masturbation when he says...if your right hand offend you cut it off. If you read the verse in context he is definitely speaking of sexual immorality. Masturbation is a sin.
4 | is masterbation a sin | Rom 12:1 | Hank | 194897
pberardi :: In the immediate context of Matthew 5:30 Jesus is speaking of adultery, not masturbation. Inasmuch as Scripture is silent on masturbation -- neither the word itself nor description of the act is found in Holy Writ -- it is quite a leap into eisegetic interpretation to read into Matthew 5:30 that Jesus was speaking of masturbation. The aim of this post is not to endorse masturbation, but to point out that your "proof text" in this instance falls short of proof. --Hank
