1 | What is "patient in Tribulation"? | Acts 14:22 | M.Royal | 187995
The bible tells us about the patience of the saints in tribulation, Jesus said "in the world ye shall have tribulation" Jesus also said "If they have persecuted me they will also persecute you" In Timothy we are told that all that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Ref. John 16:33. John 15:20. 2 Timothy 3:12. Romans 5:3. My question is what is "patient in tribulation" Since we are not expected to have any? M.Royal |

2 | What is "patient in Tribulation"? | Acts 14:22 | skccab | 187996
MRoyal, What makes you think that if the Church should be taken away before the tribulation, that there would be no believers after the rapture? Is it so inconceiveable that absolutely no one after that time would come to the Lord - and it's these that must be patient? Just a thought. blessings cheri |

3 | What is "patient in Tribulation"? | Acts 14:22 | M.Royal | 188004
Hi Cheri, During the tribulation concerning Gods wrath, the only ones protected at that time will be the 144000 (Rev.7:7-4), anyone else during that time will not believe, or repent of their sins (Rev.9:20,21. In order for the first ressurection to take place (Rev.20:4,6) the antichrist must reign so that the qualifications for being in the first resurection can be met. Since Rev.20:4,6. is the first and the second is after Christ has reigned with those from the first, you would then have to have a third ressurection if there was one before the tribulation, the bible states that there are only two. Rev. 14:12,13 tells us blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth. This is at the hand of the antichrist Rev.13:13-15. So as it is written those here with the antichrist is revealed and reigns will either serve him or be killed. I hope this is helpful to you. M.Royal |

4 | What is "patient in Tribulation"? | Acts 14:22 | skccab | 188006
I never said that those who come to the Lord after the pre-trib catching away of the church will be protected. Indeed, they will not be protected as the 144,000; but there will be believers, those who are slain for not taking the mark of the beast and those who manage to survive till the end. No need to respond. It is clear that we both are set in our views and debating will serve no purpose. I do thank you for your observations though, and they have been read here on the forum and I've checked them out in the Word. The one main thing we pre, mid, and post folk can agree on is that we all shall be with the Lord (hopefully real soon). Looking forward to meeting you there, brother. Live in His blessings till He calls us all home cheri |

MRoyal, Am I missing something here? Acts 14:22 is not addressing "the tribulation" but daily trials and tribulations. Right? Let me know, InGodITrust |

6 | What is "patient in Tribulation"? | Acts 14:22 | lionheart | 188014
InGodITrust, I've been hoping someone would ask this question because your right. I fail to see when taken in context and how it's used, the word tribulation has anything to do with "the tribulation" in Acts 14:22. The Greek word here in Acts 14:22 is thlipsis which can be translated- trouble, distress, oppresion, suffering, tribulation, hardship ect. Usage, usage, usage. Context, context, context. 2 Timothy 2:15 If we will but consistently put this passage of scripture into practice on a daily basis we can avoid allot of needless argument and speculation.Thanx for your astute observation.
