1 | Jesus is not dead and why are so wrong | John 3:16 | Mac4Yuma | 242450
My question was and still is "Why do most Christians say Jesus died for them when the bible does not support that statement." John 3:16 does not answer the question, Yes Jesus died for our sins but His death does not provide Salvation. We know about what His death means but why do most Christians say He died for them when if He is dead He can do nothing for us. To say "He died for us" therefore is not true yet most Christians keep saying a lie not knowing it is a lie. How come so may church leaders have not corrected what the many have been saying? Sorry but know I have two questions. Mac. |

3 | Jesus is not dead and why are so wrong | John 3:16 | Mac4Yuma | 242467
This must be a computer program reply because I am not mistaken about people saying Jesus died for us. I asked why they say that when it is not a Bible supported statement? what is there to have a dialogue about when the Bible plainly says Jesus lived again for us. 1Co_15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. I will ask again why do people say that Jesus died for them when His Words plainly say that such is not correct. This is a very important subject because Christians are to be honest and also to know the basic Bible teachings. Mac. |

4 | Jesus is not dead and why are so wrong | John 3:16 | EdB | 242471
Where does the word say this is not correct? Death comes from sin, Penalty of sin is death. Payment of sin is blood. Blood must be poured out. Jesus overcame death by the shedding of His blood which caused his death, but because death was overcome Jesus lived again just as every believer will one day do. The victory was secured by Jesus' blood the proof of it was His resurrection. That is why Paul said without the resurrection our faith would be in vain. You are very concerned by our bodies our tent as Paul called them. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (NASB) 6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight— 8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ where we await the resurrection and get our glorified bodies. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 (NASB) 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 1 Corinthians 15:53 (NASB) 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. |
