Bible Question:
My question was and still is "Why do most Christians say Jesus died for them when the bible does not support that statement." John 3:16 does not answer the question, Yes Jesus died for our sins but His death does not provide Salvation. We know about what His death means but why do most Christians say He died for them when if He is dead He can do nothing for us. To say "He died for us" therefore is not true yet most Christians keep saying a lie not knowing it is a lie. How come so may church leaders have not corrected what the many have been saying? Sorry but know I have two questions. Mac. |
Bible Answer: If you believe Jesus died for our sins why do you say that does not provide for our salvation? Our sins is what cost us our salvation. Jesus death was the perfect eternal sacrifice made for our sins. Therefore we have the promise of eternal life because of what Jesus did for us. In fact Jesus death does provide for our salvation. Secondly yes Jesus died for our sins but He also arose again and now is at the right hand of God the Father. There He intercedes for us. What do you claim church leaders are lying about? |
