1 | Jesus died not for us | John 3:16 | justme | 242448 | ||
Welcome to the Study Bible Forum Mac4 Yuma. Your question is a little bit different from any I have seem before. Why do you say that the Bible or more specifically the New Testament does not support that Jesus died for them? (meaning me and you) Just in the book of John chapter three there are many verses that support that we must believe in Jesus, and specifically verse 36 it refers to "the one" meaning us as each person. John 17:14-19 is another Scripture that might help as well. Without Jesus paying the price for mine and yours and everyone who will accept Him as their payment for their sins then each person makes the choice to be responsible for their own sins. God forces no one to become a follower of Jesus Christ. However those who reject the offer of Jesus dyeing and shedding His blood for their sins, then they are by choice electing to separate themselves from God and His saved ones in a place reserved for their eternal keeping. That place is eternally being punished in hell. This is never Gods will, but our personal choice. Please feel free to respond and I will be willing to dialogue further with you. justme |

John 17:14-19 is another Scripture that might help as well. 1Co_15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Jesus lived again for us He only died so that He could live again for us. One must open ones mouth to eat but opening ones mouth is not eating. All the words and deeds are in vain if He only died! do a search on died for us and also on the word Vain and keep in mind that we must not take thing out of context things like Jesus died for us. Your computer answers are very poor and such will mislead new Christians. A question why are you using a computer that has wrong answers on it? Mac. |
