No, what is the point of this? Are you here simply to persuade people to your point of view or for learning? Romans 15:4 4For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Or perhaps you are beyond the learning stage and are not open-minded. I think this pretty well sums up your position: Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 2:5,6 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. 6For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding My position is expressed clearly in 2 Cor 10:8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769. 2 | "Will be";Will God Bring" Future tense | John 3:13 | EdB | 138578 | ||
Let us keep this matter straight. You asked the question. I quote "Does John 3:13 mean that my Uncle is still dead and in the grave or is he in hell?" I then provided an answer, which instead of accepting or refuting you began a rambling discourse on what you believe. I then responded point by point, issue by issue trying to illuminate your error. Instead of discussing what I said you again went off on your tangent. I responded to your verses again showing you the correct exegesis for each verse and asked if you were tangled up with the Jehovah Witnesses since you seemed to be selling their false doctrine of soul sleep. At this point you became rather nasty and told me I refused to learn. I then asked you if you didn't think what you had done to be deceitful. Here you say "no" and once again attack my person rather than what I said. Let me sum this up you asked what appeared to be a innocent question when in fact you wanted a soapbox from which to spew your false doctrine. When asked it you thought that was deceitful you said no. Perhaps you would explain your concept of deceit. In any case if you believe in soul sleep, I really don't care. I intend to view the wonders of heaven while you slumber. If however I am wrong on this issue and if your right, which would be in conflict with the truth of the word of God, I will get caught up on all the sleep I missed in this life. In any case my hope and my salvation rests firmly in Jesus Christ. So in closing I view this conversation as serving no purpose and therefore should be terminated, so I will say goodbye or should I say to you sleep tight? EdB |
