1 | fishing for comments, on these scripture | John 2:1 | diasperio | 139997
Like I said I was fishing for comments, and I suppose [ although he should know and understand the baptism in the Spirit]I could have got some more scriptures together showing the principles I see working in these verses, psalm 19:7-11 shows that we are to understand pirinciples in the word, and psalm 16:10-11 and Acts 2:31, 13:35 show that prohecy can be discerned in the way I was disscussing it. Yes him telling me I should shut up before hearing me out was rude and that is shown in psalm 15 under the words slander and slur [ meaning taking lightly another person.] My fireind I wasn't born yesterday in God , and I'm not a unlearned man , as I have been studing under Derek Prince ministries for yrs. So why don't you guys relax, anyone that loves the truth will be willing to discuss it. If he's going to treat people rite then he can show it by the way he responds.
2 | fishing for comments, on these scripture | John 2:1 | Hank | 140010
diasperio - Studying under Derek Prince ministeries does not particularly impress me. What impresses me is sound, orthodox exegesis of Scripture and that does NOT involve conjecture, speculation, drawing out-of-context conclusions, following what "common sense dictates, or anything else that is contrary to the plain sense of Scripture. You have made some assertions on this thread. Kalos and Searcher have challenged you to justify those assertions by appropriate Bible texts. In my view it is time for you to fish or cut bait. Calling a fellow user rude for challenging the content of your post is a poor defense of the post, don't you think so? --Hank
