1 | Teaching about Santa Claus? | John 10:10 | pixel | 22785
I am the mom of a 3 year old girl who does not want to teach (lie to) her about Santa Claus. I know that this has the potential to cause her discomfort and isolation, but I want to do what is biblically correct. I do not mind teaching her who Santa really is (Saint Nicholas), but I am skeptical to believe that convincing her that Santa comes down the chimney after flying in a sleigh pulled by reindeer is Christian-like. What do you guys (escpecially you parents) think?
2 | Teaching about Santa Claus? | John 10:10 | jehovah52 | 40372
there is only one person that can be in more than one place at one time and that is the person is God. not a man called santa. we must teach our children that all good and perfect gifts come from above. a lie is a lie including Santa. i didn't teach my son to believe in Santa, i had him wait until Christmas morning to confirm whether he got what he wanted for Christmas and that was just as exciting for him and he was grateful to both me and God.
