1 | Explain Godhead Trinity? | Luke 3:22 | CDBJ | 196295
Greetings, In you post you state the following with regards to the trinity. “The Father is the creator, and the judge.” Could you list some chapters and verses from the Bible that suggest this? I’ve always thought that the Son performed both of those functions. Ephes. 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: CDBJ |

2 | Explain Godhead Trinity? | Luke 3:22 | stjohn | 196296
Hi Chuck, That is interesting, although John 1:3, makes it quite clear that, all things came into being through and by the Word, who is God and the Light of men, Jesus Christ. But that he is the Judge, or should I say the only, may be a bit ambiguous, because 1 Pet 2:23 seems to imply that jesus' judgeship may not be exclusive... "and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;" perhaps we should say, all three persons having the attributes, would all then be apt to judge righteously? Just a thought. I hope you, or someone, can add something to my understanding. God bless John |
