1 | WAS THIVES TIED OR NAILED TO CROSS | Luke 23:32 | flinkywood | 117229
CDBJ, I've always wondered about God's forsaking of Jesus in the ninth hour. I was told this was the case around the time I first believed, but have since some to the opposite conclusion. Are you referring to Jesus' cry from psalm 22? If so, in context of the entire Psalm, is it possible to argue that Christ was actually forsaken on Calvary that day? Colin |

2 | WAS THIVES TIED OR NAILED TO CROSS | Luke 23:32 | CDBJ | 117230
Jesus had to make it to the cross in spite of all attempts to kill him before he was able to get there by the adversary. No cross no salvation!!! Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Satan knows Scripture and was doing his bust to stop him before he could get to the cross. What happened to Christ on the cross was done by God! I firmly believe that when our sins where poured out on Christ and judged, at the ninth hour, that it was so hideous that God caused a supernatural darkness to cover the area, not just a few clouds, as is often portrayed, it was dark, dark!
