1 | Need The Sinner's Prayer | Luke 18:13 | BradK | 170614 | ||
Dear A..., Without being a bit more specific, it's impossible to give you the exact "Sinners Prayer". There are many renditions and no one is necessarily more right than the other. Biblically, you have the cry of the Tax Collector in Luke 18:13, "...God be merciful to me a sinner". Romans 10:13 (quoting from Joel 2:32) says, "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." There are also words such as "Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my sinfulness and need of a Savior. Thank you for dying for my sins on the cross. Come into my life". It's not the words themselves that are most important. It's the heart attitude, for 1 Sam. 16:7 says "...but the Lord looks at the heart." I trust this will help, BradK |
