has not "death" been destroyed by Christ on the cross?...HE holds to the keys to death, hell and the grave...grave where is your victory, death where is your sting. DEATH is only an enemy to those that have not died to self and come alive in Christ. C marengo | ||||||

If death is dead then what is thrown into the Lake of Fire Revelation 20:14. Furthermore your right Jesus has the keys of death, hell and the grave, in other words title deed to this earth. Where did He get them? As you answer keep in mind the discourse between Satan and God in the Book of Job. If Satan is defeated and is as harmless as you make him out why do we need a High Priest? Is it not to make intercession and defend us from the accuser of the Saints? One last thing, reflect if you will on the Tree of Life as seen in Genesis 3:22 and it’s purpose in view of Revelation 22:2. As you do ponder was the curse of the fall physical death or spiritual death or both. Or was physical death a natural occurrence that happened since we didn’t have access to the tree of Life. If a natural occurrence then victory of the cross was over spiritual death and had no bearing on physical death which we see destroyed in Rev 20:14 and Rev 22:2 EdB |
