1 | Who wasn't going to taste death? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 42947
The time for "tasting death" occurs "after" Christ comes in kingdom power. "Standing HERE" occurs when Christ is "about (present tense)to come in glory to reward believers." Matt.16:27. "They (not YOU) will taste death" for up to three days after the Two Prophets finish their task to display "Christ's Authority." Rev.12:10; 11:7,11. "Some of them taste death" up to the Lastday. |

2 | Who wasn't going to taste death? | Mark 9:1 | meusing | 42959
Again, you twist the sayings of Immanuel to make them say what you want them to say. The two prophets were not with Jesus there. Jesus said "some standing here" he meant that some of those who were standing there with Him would not die util they saw the Kingdom of God come in power. Most of those who were there wer in the upper room when the Holy Ghost came in POWER; and John saw Jesus come in power in Revelation before he died. |

3 | Why admit Two Prophets were not THERE? | Mark 9:1 | Lastday | 42975
How can you say I "twist the words of Jesus" when you admit the "Two Prophets were not there"? They will be "THERE" when "God's kingdom power comes" at the time Michael "casts Satan from heaven." The only Scriptural reference to the fulfillment of Mark 9:1 is found in Rev.12:10 which occurs when Tribulation Saints are THERE; for "HERE is the patience of the Saints." Rev.13:10. "HERE refers to Christ being "about to come in glory"! |

4 | Why admit Two Prophets were not THERE? | Mark 9:1 | RAVEN | 43023
Hello Lastday, I would like to point out that the scripture Mark 9:1 which speaks of the kingdom of God is a prophecy of the coming church which becomes a reality in Acts 2. Mark 9:1 goes right along with Matthew 16:17-18 Matthew 16 17Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. The kingdom of God is the church and is prophesied in the Old Testament. Isaiah 9 6 For a (1) child will be born to us, a (2) son will be given to us; And the (3) government will rest (4) on His shoulders; And His name will be called (5) Wonderful Counselor, (6) Mighty God, Eternal (7) Father, Prince of (8) Peace. 7 There will be (9) no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the (10) throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with (11) justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. (12) The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this. Daniel 2 The Divine Kingdom 44 "In the days of those kings the (1) God of heaven will (2) set up a (3) kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will (4) crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. 45 "Inasmuch as you saw that a (5) stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold, the (6) great God has made known to the king what (7) will take place in the future; so the dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy." As well as the New Testement, Luke 1 32 "He will be great and will be called the Son of (1) the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him (2) the throne of His father David; 33 (3) and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, (4) and His kingdom will have no end." So I wanted point out that the scripture which you are using was already a reality before Revelation. Raven |

Hi Raven, Your thoughts are excellent. But Jesus had Rev.12:10,11 and Dan.12:10,11 in mind in order to prepare those who will then know He is "about to come in glory," as stated in Matt.16:27, but that "some of them must still taste death for three days "after the Two Prophets finish" demonstrating God's Kingdom Power for 1260 days. "Those standing HERE" know Christ will appear "in the days when time is no longer...in the days whenever the 7th Trumpet is about to sound." Rev.11:6,7. Mel lastday@pinn.net |
