1 | Is that where the houses are? | Mark 10:30 | Asis | 96723
It is OK as lonG as you see it for what it is . . . fiction, an opinion AND NOT THE WORD OF GOD. I think you need to reread what CDBJ wrote in response to your inquiry. Do not look at scripture out of context. Jesus is talking about those who have money and will not separate themselves from it. Mark 10:23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! [KJV] They were astonished at what He had just said and . . . Mark 10:24-25 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! [25] It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. [KJV] He is taking about the love of money. And of course anything we love above God is an idol. God is a jealous God and does not like it when His children love something more than Him. Mark 10:26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? [KJV] They did not understand His sayings (since it is the desire of man to be rich, we think it is the end of all our troubles). Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. [KJV] Man cannot remove himself from the love of money, masn cannot save himself. But God can do anything Here is where we get to it. Peter says what about us? We gave it all up to follow you. I had a great fishing business, John and James also, Matthew was a Tax Collector and we all know they have lots of money. Every one of us walked away from good jobs and houses and family. (All my additions not found in scripture). Mark 10:29-31 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, [30] But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. [31] But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. [KJV] I'm gonna tell you God does supply all my needs. He has given me a new family and yes mi casa es su casa. When I have been in need my brothers and sisters in the Lord have responded and I have not gone in want. Our attitude though must be answered by the question, "How poor are you willing to be for Jesus?" The answer is a heart condition. Seek first His Kingdom and righteousness and all this will be provided. That is a reality in the life of the believer not a promise to come. Does that make it clearer? Or are you after some lands and houses and money instead of our Lord. IN THE LOVE OUR LORD Asis |

2 | Does that make it clearer? | Mark 10:30 | Aixen7z4 | 96728
No Señor, I am not seeking your lands or your house or your money. Matter of fact I would like you to know that there are three extra bedrooms in this house that I live in and think of as his house, and you are free to stop by and use them any time you are in my town. I think you could have sid "Mi casa es su casa" and stopped there. I hope we can get rid of that fear that someone is after our land and house and money. Actually they are not ours at all, but the Lord's, and I suspect that he wants us to share them. |

You are probably right. I get carried away some times and ask the hard question and them get into trouble. Sometimes we just need to know. I would be honored to share you house and break bread with you. That day may come. I look forward to future posts. Asis |
