1 | Judgement of believers | Matt 7:21 | EdB | 242220
CDBJ Okay I see your question and the answer depends on your perspective of the Rapture. If you believe in the rapture, as many believe is detailed in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, the righteous dead would already be risen before the Occurance of what takes place in Rev 20:11-15. The righteous dead will be judged at the Bema Seat Judgment The Bible talks about the Judgment Seat of Christ--also referred to as the bema--in three places: Romans 14:10-12; 1 Corinthians 3:10--4:5; and 2 Corinthians 5:1-10. Only church-age saints will appear at that judgment, as shown in 2 Corinthians 5:10: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ." http://www.gty.org/resources/questions/QA97/What-is-the-purpose-of-the-Judgement-Seat-of-Christ If on the other hand you do not believe in the Rapture then yes it appears that both the righteous dead and unrighteous would be at the Great White Throne. |

2 | Judgement of believers | Matt 7:21 | CDBJ | 242222
Greetings, Instead of beating around the bush I’ll just try and explain what I think I have found as a postulate from several different verses of Scripture. Hebrews 9:27 (NASB) 27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, There are in fact seven different types of deaths mentioned in the Bible, physical death, spiritual death, operational death, positional death etc. but the one mentioned in Heb 9:27 is a reference to physical death. During the period known as the Millennium there will be children born, and as with today, they will have old sin natures and the need to be born again in order to have eternal life. Many will trust in the finished grace work of Christ that was accomplished on the cross. Still others will reject God’s gracious gift of salvation that is in Christ and will rebel against perfect environment when Satan is granted access back into the world. Rev. 20:2,3 and Rev. 20:7-9 There is no judgment mentioned in Scripture between the judgment seat of Christ, or the BEMA seat, and the white throne judgment. As a result we find the mention of books and a book in Rev.20, and the fact that it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment. These statements combined would have to place born again believers at the white throne judgment where the names of those believers will be found in the, “singular”, book of life. i.e. They haven’t been blotted out of the book of life. The books of works designates that the dead, i.e. the lost souls are depending on things that they have done to impress God. They tried to gain His approbation or approval for eternal life by what they did instead of depending on the salvation that God provided as a free gift from a gracious loving God. Any one that doesn’t have the righteousness that is of God will never have eternal life with God. God the father has made the total provision for eternal life resident within the person of His Son. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMP) 21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. Those that think they have to die before they know for sure if they have eternal life aren’t trusting God and what He says in His Word, the Bible. John 3:18 (NKJV) 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:36 (NKJV) 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." 1 John 5:10-13 (AMP) 10 He who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony [possesses this divine attestation] within himself. He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son. 11 And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life. 13 I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life. Have a great day, CDBJ |

CDBJ You have stated a hypothesis based on common but often rejected teaching about the millennium. I will not say you are wrong but your are making assumptions on things silent in the Bible. First your hypothesis is built on the assumption that there is a millennium as defined by man. There are many that dispute that there is a millenium as commonly defined by man. Second nowhere in scripture do we see the requirements for salvation for those the live in the millennium. We know there are some that will be deceived Rev 20:10 but we can't say if or how this effected their salvation which is unknown to us to begin with. That said I do agree that if all your assumptions are correct it would appear that there will be some righteous that will stand before the Great White Throne. A thought I had never considered before.
