Jason, Brian here. I can only tell you what works for me. I do not do it by my abilities. I keep "self" out of the picture. ME, MYSELF, AND I is not my focus. CHRIST is and what HE wants. HE is LORD and as LORD, HE deserves all of my focus. Reading and studying the WORD hours every day. Not only helps me stay focused on HIM. It increases my faith, gives me peace that I do not understand.Gives me the right verses when I need them. Useing 1 John 1:9 and 1 John 1:7b all day long to enable me to have a one to one relationship with the FATHER through CHRIST. Praying HIS WORD back to HIM has been blessing me, again beyond my understanding. The use of that verse and a half enables GOD the HOLY SPIRIT to do the teaching when studying the WORD. As Jabez prayed, 1/4 of his prayer, keep evil away from me. Remember the sparrows and the lilies, are you not worth more? May this help, the key is to keep yourself in a one to one relationship with CHRIST. Sinless so GOD can hear you. Brian#9, |

Hi Brain#9, I'm curious as to what you meant by saying "Sinless so GOD can hear you." Are you advocating that we, as Christians are (or must) sinless? Or, are you saying that we must be sinless for God to hear our prayers? Would you care to clarify and define on what grounds you make that assertion? Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
