2 | Will Judas be on one of the thrones? | Matt 19:28 | CDBJ | 16230
Judas did not follow in the regeneration. i.e. He was not born again. Scripture say he went to his place. They drew lots to see who would fill his spot but the Lord, as the Bible shows, chose Paul to fill in his office as one of the 12. Acts 1:15-26 (Mark 14:21) doesn't show the future of Judas as being on a throne! I hope this helps. CDBJ

4 | Will Judas be on one of the thrones? | Matt 19:28 | CDBJ | 16306
Don't you think it was nice of them to limit the Lord to one of two people, that (they) themselves had picked out? I was under the impression that the Lord would build His church. And on top of all this, when they picked these two, they hadn't been filled with the Holy Spirit yet! You think that it might have been Matthias? Where in the Bible do you hear from him again? The key to the one filling the position, according to Peter, is that the one must have been a witness to the resurrection of Christ and be taught by Him. Paul fills the bill, and can we say that he is never heard from in the Bible? I think not! Peter was always one to jump headlong into things, and sometimes he was wrong. In my estimation the 12th apostle that was called was Paul. CDBJ

CDBJ, Where does the Bible call Paul the 12th apostle (the one replaced Judas)? Matthias may not of been heard again in the Bible, but who else besides Peter, John and James who was killed (Acts 12:2), is mentioned? Steve |

6 | Is Paul the 12th apostle, by the Bible? | Matt 19:28 | CDBJ | 16341
Your question is where is Paul called the 12th apostle in the Bible. As to hanging a particular number on him, it doesn't. As far as being an apostle it would appear that he was number one by the results. Rom. 1:1-- I Cor. 1:1-- as in all the books that Paul wrote. For my money, I even think that he wrote Hebrews, but there again it not a black and white issue. I would say that the proof is in the pudding, as it were. I was just putting in my two cents worth. It doesn't work. James also calls himself an apostle.
