1 | So ALL who believe in Christ are saved? | Matt 10:33 | Morant61 | 15793
Greetings EdB! Concerning the differences between John 3:16 and James 2:19, there is one small problem with your answer (though I agree with the thrust of it). The word "believe" is the same word in both verses. However, notice what James 2:19 says that the demons believe. It says that they believe that there is one God. It never says that they believed in Him for salvation. Thus, your point about the word believe is right on the mark. To believe is to enter into a relationship or a committment with Christ, not simply to acknowledge that He exists. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | So ALL who believe in Christ are saved? | Matt 10:33 | EdB | 15844
Tim Yes the word is the same. By being the same we get more insight to the word. While we must believe in faith, our belief can be no less certain than the demons who believe in God because they have seen him and know for a fact that he exist. |
