1 | A Loving GOD Who Hates | Mal 1:3 | mbooker | 59942 | ||
Good Morning All! I have read this verse before and I did not understand how God, who is love, could hate. Last week, a sister came to me and asked if I had ever read the verse and I told her 'yes'. We looked up this verse in other versions and all used the word 'hate' except the NLT, which uses 'rejected'. We both want to understand how our loving God could hate. Does anyone have any insight into this verse? Thanks in advance to those who may response. Abba Father bless... |

Doesn't the balance of the passage define 'hate?' "...and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Mal 1:4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation forever." |
