1 | Ten Commandments vs. Galatians | Ex 20:1 | JWeaver | 176343
I have to disagree with BradK. He stated "except Sabbath-keeping" in his explanation. God does not change. He offers us Grace through acceptance of his only son Jesus Christ. His laws are still his laws. Man cannot keep his laws because of sin. He wrote the ten commandments twice therefore he made no mistake when he said remember the sabboth in exodus 20 or wrote them in exodus 31:18 and rewrote them in exodus 34:12(this is also in deuteronomy). We only know that the sabbath day was the seventh day. man made and changed the calendar days over the years therefore we can only guess at the orginal seventh day. We may guess and observe a day once a week. but we must always remember that every day is Gods day and everything in it belongs to Him. If we guess wrong but continue to worship him in our hearts through Christ, Christ will present us to Him without sin. If you love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself, and keep your faith, you, through Christ, will be keeping the ten commandments. Trust(keep faith in) the Holy Spirit to keep you on the right path. |

I'm kind of new to the faith, but I thought when a person receives Christ as Savior, we enter into HIS Sabbath rest. (Hebrews 4)
