Subject: Ten Commandments vs. Galatians |
Bible Note: Greetings Sqosh, You are right in your understanding about God’s rest, and don’t let those that haven’t experienced this rest yet dissuade you! Paul had too correct problems in his day with people that were pushing false works on those in Galatia so it’s bound to be prevalent now in our day. Galatians 1:6-7 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; [7] which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you, and want to distort the gospel of Christ. It seems as though people always want to do something to impress God. They like, as it were, too add a little bit of self to the equation. Again you have it right, Hebrews 4:3 (A) For we who have believed do enter that rest, Have a great day, CDBJ |
