1 | Was God the Protector of the Israelites? | Ex 13:21 | punkiedo | 107947
I have actually done a very good job of explaining myself. Furthermore, as I said before there had to be a spiritual manifestation in order for him to be the messiah. AND John was the only one who saw the manifestation. it says plainly and lo the heavens were open unto HIM not them. There was a multitude of people there. JEEZE this just hit me!!!!! THAT WAS LIKE A PRE PENTECOST DEMONSTRATION!!!!! BAPTISM THEN THE HOLY GHOST CAN COME IN JESUS WAS FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS, SO HE WAS SHOWING US WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! WOW!!!! ALL YOU APOSTOLICS OUT THERE SHOULD SHOUT OVER THIS!!! (or maybe i am way over reacting) Jesus showed us what we are suppose to do! Steve I am fully persuaded that Jesus was God Is God and Forever will be God. John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Note the use of I AM.. what did he tell Moses his name was? I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

2 | Smile and say Jeez? | Ex 13:21 | Hank | 111441
Punkledo, your post contains the interjection "JEEZE." It has two flaws. One, it is misspelled. The expression is "jeez." Two, "jeez" is an alteration of the word "Jesus" -- hardly a fit interjection to use on a Study Bible Forum, or for a Christian to use anywhere else, wouldn't you agree? --Hank
3 | Smile and say Jeez? | Ex 13:21 | Rowdy | 111459
When I saw this exchange, I could only respond with the words from our Lord as recorded in Matt 5: 33"Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.' 34But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. But then again I guess this could apply to myself and just about everyone on this Forum. I do think we could all use some restraint and let our responses reflect a little more love from God and less influence from "the evil one." What do you all think? God bless. |
