1 | Why no honest, truthful person? | Jer 5:1 | Searcher56 | 27146
Scripture ... Deuteronomy 6 ... Nolan, Thank you. I fear we could be in the same plight unless we teach our children to be honest, truthful and to love the Lord (Deu 6). Steve PS I am hoping more will answer, or at least think about this. |

2 | Why no honest, truthful person? | Jer 5:1 | Makarios | 27161
Greetings Steve! Yes, I fear that society in general is in this same plight as well. The Lord has warned us, like Israel, and we should be convinced to turn to Him with all our hearts! But, like you've said, the key to cleaning up society in the future is in the children and helping them learn about and placing their faith in God. As you know, I'm running a separate thread on 2 Chr. 15:15 that speaks how the people turned wholeheartedly to God, even killing those who did not agree to do this (2 Chr. 15:13). Another way of looking at your question about "no honest, truthful person" is the verse in Ezekiel 22:30.. "I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one." Blessings to you, Nolan |
