Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. To me this is saying much the same thing John says in the New Testament: John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. I believe the key is that you ask with faith that it will be heard and answered. James also says: James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. It all comes back to the person praying being committed to Jesus; recognizing that he kneels before the King of the universe, and yet is heard. Blessings to all who follow the Christ. |
