1 | Isaiah 9:6-7 Coincidence or Prophecy? | Is 9:6 | punkiedo | 113091 | ||
Some see a sharp separation between the one God who is the Father and the one Lord who is Jesus Christ. We must remember that the Holy Spirit has put a cloak of mystery over the identity of the Father and the Son. True enough there is only one God and there is only one Lord. Now let us look and see who the apostles of the New Testament Church believed they were. John 20:27-28.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. All the apostles were gathered together when Thomas proclaimed Yahshua was both his Lord and his God. This was the truth that was plainly revealed to the apostles. So for those who have ears to hear there is one God and that is Yahshua and also there is one Lord who is also Yahshua. For the Lord our God IS ONE. Revelation 22:3-5.And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Notice that the throne of God and the Lamb IS SINGULAR. Also his servants shall serve him not them. They shall see HIS FACE, NOT THEIR FACES. And HIS NAME, NOT THEIR NAMES shall be in their foreheads. It is called the throne of God and of the Lamb. We know the Lamb is Yahshua. Who is the Lord God that giveth them light? Thomas answered and said unto him, (Yahshua) MY LORD AND MY GOD. So the throne of God is occupied by ONE who is BOTH God and the Lamb. Ephesians 5:8.For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: If Christians are the children of light then the light is their father. WHO IS THE LIGHT? John 12:44-46.Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Yahshua is the light. We are the children of light. Conclusion? Yahshua is our Father. 1 John 2:28-29.And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness IS BORN OF HIM. Are we not to abide in Yahshua? Are we not to be ready for HIS COMING? John is plainly writing about Him. He says we are (born of him). If we are born of him we are his children and he is our Father. John 14:6-9.Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hknow the Father apart from Yahshua. Many people today seek the same thing Philip sought. But Yahshua's answer was "have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me?" He says if you have seen me YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER! ath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Early in our study Yahshua said no man can know who the Father is unless the Son reveals it to them. Here the apostle Philip wanted to know the Father apart from Yahshua. Many people today seek the same thing Philip sought. But Yahshua's answer was "have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me?" He says if you have seen me YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER! Honestly friend, if you were there that day what would you have thought? Again a reminder this truth is hidden from some. To others it is revealed. If you can see the same thing Philip saw that day it is because of divine revelation. The Son has revealed the Father to you. |

If as you say Jesus is alone with His Majesty, with out the Father and the Spirit, then how do you account for the fact that He is seated at the right side; He would be the only side! Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; By your definition there wouldn’t be a left or a right because there would only be one! God is one in essence but reflected in three distinct personalities. For sake of clarification lets say that God, as we know him, has certain characteristics, not all are listed, but these ten are listed for simple clarity; again, this is not a complete list but it's sufficient for the brief explanation. God is sovereignty, righteousness, justice, love, eternal life, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutability, and veracity. God is one in unity with all of these characteristics just mentioned. Whoever has All of these attributes is in fact God. It so happens that there are three separate personalities in existence, that have All of these attributes and for sake of accommodation, they are referred to in the Bible as, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. They have existed Together forever in eternity past and they will continue on forever into eternity future; the three personalities had no beginning, they always were and always will be. Anyone exhibiting All of the listed traits mentioned is God, it so happens that there are only three personalities in existence that posses (All) of these attributes. God is ONE IN ESSENCE but THREE IN PERSONALITIES. God decided in eternity past that one of the personalities, the one we call the Son, would take on the form of a man and be born into the human race, his name as a human, would be Jesus. When God the second person took on the form of a man it is referred to as the hypostatic union. (i.e.) Jesus is a one-of-a-kind being, 100 percent God and 100 percent man; he was the God man. He is different from the other two members of the God Head in that he is a man. He is different from mankind in that he is God. Even though Jesus was walking around on this Earth as a man, he was at the same time holding the Universe together by the power of his might as God. God didn't see fit to reveal everything to the humanity of Jesus at the time of his first coming; an example of this would be the exact day and hour when Christ would return to the Earth to be glorified in his saints at his second coming. Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Have a nice day, CDBJ |

Soooooo....now God has multiple personality disorder? People like this in our society are treated with serious meds, we are made in the image and likeness of God, so why don't I have split personalities? Wonder why people get delivered of that when they come to my church? BECAUSE IT'S A SPIRIT. Dangerous ground saying God has it....I wouldn't go there. Where in the bible does it say "Hear o Israel The Lord your God The Lord he is One but in three personalities." |

I wouldn’t be so blasphemous as to say of the personage of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, as you suggested, “God has multiple personality disorder”. I can do without your disparaging remarks about God my saviour, thanks! My postings to you are over. Have a nice day, CDBJ |
