I have a question to ask about Jesus' status. In the Bible it states that Judas was Jesus' "treasurer" does this mean that Jesus was rich? | ||||||

No, he told those who wanted to follow Him… Mat 8: 20Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." The profit Isaiah described Him this way… Isaiah 53: 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. philemcc |

Greetings Pazzaz! The word translated as 'treasurer' is the Greek phrase 'the one having the box'. There isn't any verse which specifically mentions how much money Jesus had, but as Philemocc pointed out, there are several which seem to indicate that He didn't have much. Jesus was traveling with a group of 12 men, including many of their family memembers. So, the 'box' mentioned is probably the total resources of the group, not just Jesus. I hope this helps!
