Bojo2: The thought occurred to me to take steps to restrict this post of yours so that it would not be seen on the home page of this Forum, but I want it to stand so that all users of this StudyBibleForum can see for themselves how unbiblical and outrageous it is. How can anyone with the sense of a goose envisage any possible way in which to "smoke, drink, snort, shoot up" can bring him closer to Christ? I recommend the study of this post as a sterling example of what a post on this Bible forum should not be. --Hank

My tongue was planted firmly in my cheek when making this post. My point was "How can anyone with the sense of a goose envisage any possible way in which to "smoke, drink, snort, shoot up" can bring him closer to Christ?" I'm sorry for the confusion.

Bojo2 - Thanks for the clarification of your true meaning. Sometimes it's hard to see a tongue planted in a cheek! That's especially true of a new user who comes aboard who has not yet established a rapport with other Forum users. One must accept postings on their face value in the absence of a cogent reason to accept them otherwise. Obviously the trio of us who responded to your post failed to see its irony. As it stands after your clarifying response, I'm pleased to know you weren't being literal and therefore I take this occasion to bid you welcome to this web site. May God bless, and may your membership on this Forum prove rewarding to you and to the other members who use this StudyBibleForum. --Hank
