Dear Cheri, I think you ask that because you have not paid attention to my recent questions. The difficulties on this struggle have to do with the basic fact: Why would He create a sinful person (like me)? This doesn't sound too perfect to me. So, in the level of relationship, it is also clear that I have nothing to offer either. What could a sinful person have to offer to a God who, if I stood in His presence I would die? (except with a ressurrected body). So, it makes death as an unavoidable issue. Daily. Because, after all, even with the "imperfection" mentioned at the beginning, if there is anything good, it obviously comes from Him. Excuse me for the "flare" word. It was a typo. I meant "fare". Concerning the "Yesterday is too late" is that I can't wait to get out of this unproductive existence and get in touch with the "real thing" - soon. In your analogy, the "Disneyland with foundations"... Maybe the following verse will do: 1 Corinthians 13:12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
