Hello Finder, Well, sounds as if you could have saved yourself some time and come right out with it. Your questions seem to be: ( Just who does "God" think he is? ) ( Why doesn't he do things my way?-! ) Well my friend, may I say, God has a plan to bring His own to Him, those who would come to Him willingly, not like some kind of robots. And if I may, I'd like to ask you something. Just who do you to think you are? Do you have a better plan then "God" has? And may I say, I think your way would stink. I wouldn't want a son who was created to love me automatically, If God had wanted that, He could have stopped His creation after making the dog. Now I don't know, but If I had it in mind to have a son, that would love me on command, I'd be sure to name him Spot, or Rover, or something like that. Do you see my point my friend? I hope that you do, and I hope that you find in God's Word the answers you are looking for. Jesus is a wonderful saviour my friend. Why don't you try to just trust Him? I can promise you; He will not let you down. And next time, take your Questions to God, I am sure, He will be more patient with you then we are, at least for now that is. Someday you will stand before Him in Judgment; and, "He" will be asking the questions. God bless. John |

2 | Judgment - clarification requested | Is 14:12 | skccab | 186291 | ||
John, I've read this thread, and found your mention of the Judgmemt before Christ. Forgive me if my question is inappropriate, or in a wrong place - but my understanding of that event has always been that it's more a moment of reward or lack thereof. That the "judgment" took place at the Cross when we accepted Jesus as Savior, and we continue in self-judgment and when we find ourselves in need of correction, by 1Jn 1:9, we take care of the matter - so it is therefore no longer judgment but reward (or lack of reward). Rom 2:6 For God will reward each of us according to what we have done. Perhaps I've misunderstood you, so let me state that I'm referring to the catching away of the saints of God (the Rapture as some call it), not the Great Day of the Lord, where the unrighteous dead and living will be judged. Have I gotten it all backwards? Eager to learn. Blessings Cheri |

"[For the believer] ...'judgment' took place at the cross..." Amen! Cheri: Note that John will be notified that you've asked a question. I just couldn't resist jumping in here and commending this statement. :-) |
