1 | Possibility of finding reliable source | Is 14:12 | Finder | 186290 | ||
Dear Doc, I may have not expressed the concern related to logic in a clear way. By no means I would minimize the relevance and necessity of taking logic in consideration. But what I meant is that that particular doctor I referred to, used some isolated points as he concluded his thoughts on Theodicy, and said that he was basing his conclusion on "logic", without providing a legitimate context where the laws of logic could be applied. Anyway, it was just an observation that I made, with the purpose of trying to get the indication of some name that would treat the matter with more "balance" and sensitivity, (for lack of better words). Thank you for your help, observations and encouragement. Finder |

Dear Finder, Perhaps you are beginning to see the need for your study of basics. Here are three articles you can read regarding the fundamentals of logic in understanding the God of Scripture. Again, nothing is a substitute for diligent study (Proverbs 12:27). http://www.frame-poythress.org/frame_articles/2005Logic.htm http://www.lgmarshall.org/Apologetics/clark_godlogic.html http://www.apologeticsinfo.org/papers/logicpostmodern.html "Logic is fixed, universal, necessary, and irreplaceable. Irrationality contradicts the Biblical teaching from beginning to end. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is not insane. God is a rational being, the architecture of whose mind is logic." --Gordon H. Clark In Him, Doc |
