1 | Are you quite sure about that? | Eccl 11:6 | Ken hepting | 100152
[When Jesus was here he had no doubt. He said he knew the father was always with him. He never had that little doubt. He did always the things that please the Father. But you do not. Sometimes you do not know whether you do or not. That's the truth. Please don’t say it’s because Jesus was or is God. Please read on] Jesus was alone in the wilderness and when on the cross. No presence of God "felt" here. He was totally alone with just the assurance of the written word and His own faith the father would perform all He purposed. Your post is very insightful and deserves thought by everyone who seeks intimacy with Father. The examples you site are kingdom of God experiences. |

Do you realize that the times when we are left alone is the times when we are sinning. I don't know the purpose of Jesus's being alone in the wilderness but then again I always thought that meant he didn't take his deciples with him because while he was there he was fasting and praying. I also believe that the only time Jesus was alone was when the devil came to tempt Him. Also Jesus was left alone on the cross when He bowed His head and died and the earth turned dark. These two times He was left alone was because God can't look on sin and sin was in Jesus's presence both times.

I understand what do you are driving at. My reasoning has to do with Jesus, as a man, being tested...Not unlike Job to some extent and certainly not unlike Adam who failed. If He is our example then it stands to reason we will encounter much the same kind of testing that we be approved unto God, faithful true and able trusted. When we fail at that endeavor we have an advocate with the Father who contunually makes intercession for us in our behalf. If it can be seen in that light you will experience joy and not sorrow when things seem to go wrong in life. A learning proccess to be sure. 1 John 5:4 (NASB-U) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Faith carries with it JOY. |

I agree. If Jesus Himself was tested then who's to say that we should not be tested also.
