I cant back this up with scripture but I remember reading something about animals with split hooves.I believe this was how Noah was able to differentiate between clean and unclean animals. Hope this helps. In Christ, lionheart |

2 | Clean and unclean animals? | Gen 7:2 | Mommapbs | 144949
Yes, you are correct lionheart, but that description was given in the Law - many centuries later. I'm just wondering if this might have been the means of identifying them - of course we have the oral record from Adam to also take into account. And since Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord, we might infer that he knew God and what He required - faith in following His command - recall how the Lord spoke to Cain and told him that he would be accepted if he did what was right - which goes right to the heart of things - his motives for obedience. Do you love Me comes to mind here . . . Blessings, mommapbs |

3 | Clean and unclean animals? | Gen 7:2 | mark d seyler | 144956
Hi mommapbs, Keeping the sabbath also predated the giving of the Law. It seems God told His people what He wanted of them 'somehow'. Love in Christ, Mark |
