1 | Enter the Dragon! | Gen 3:1 | Searcher56 | 19724
Lionstrong, God created all things good. This was true during the creation (Gen 2-3) and I believe He did the same before creation, when He created the angels, including Satan. We don't see them being created during the creation, so I believe they were created before. Satan and his cohort fell, becuase the angels were created with choice. Just as man fell quickly, so did the angels. Searcher |

2 | Scriptural support? | Gen 3:1 | Lionstrong | 19863
Thanks for you answer, Steve, Two Points: 1) According to your view there was a creation before the creation. As such the pronouncement of good of Gen 1:31 applies to this creation not the one supposedly before this one. Therefore what scriptural support do you have for saying that all the heavenly host were created morally good? 2) "Good" does not necessarily mean morally good. When God pronounced the first day's creation of light "good," he didn't mean that it was morally good. It was good in that it was exactly the way he wanted it and he was pleased with it. So "good" in Gen 1:31 is not moral. Peace, Lionstrong |

3 | Scriptural support? | Gen 3:1 | Searcher56 | 19900
Lionstrong, The word for good in creation is Towb. It is also the word used in Gen 3:5, "knowing good and evil" and verse 6 "good for food" ... But, I believe God created angels with a choice factor, as with man. Based on this account I don't think man knew evil ... it was planted in him. I believe the He did the same for angels, but I cannot prove it. Searcher |
