1 | what happened to the tree of knowledge? | Gen 2:9 | chynna | 45886
Yes. Genesis 6 talks about the flood. :-) But you've made me think. Obviously 10 months under water didn't kill all the vegetation. So conceivably that tree, or a seed thereof, could be somewhere on earth. Since the bible doesn't specify the type of tree, it could be the apple tree for all we know. I'm more interested in what happened to the tree of life. Did it have enough life in it to withstand the flood? :)

Greetings chynna, These verses should answer your question concerning the Tree of Life. Revelation 2:7 "'Let the person who has an ear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give the privilege of eating from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.'" [ISV] Revelation 22:2 "Between the street of the city and the river there was the tree of life visible from both sides. It produced twelve kinds of fruit, each month having its own fruit. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations." [ISV] Revelation 22:14 "How blessed are those who wash their robes so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city!" [ISV] Revelation 22:19 "If anyone takes away any words from the book of this prophecy, God will take away his portion of the tree of life and the holy city that are described in this book." [ISV] ISV - International Standard Version Blessings to you, Makarios |
