1 | Are there any "people" created by Satan? | Gen 2:7 | slide_m46 | 75801 | ||
Could the devil have created some "people" who now inhabit this earth and they make up those who are not saved. If someone thinks so, then is there any scriptural support for such an idea? Thanks. |

Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning GOD created the Heavens and the earth." (See also John 1:1-4) Verse 3 says, "All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." From these two Scriptures, it is clear that God alone is THE Creator. We should not be ignorant about the devil, for he is a powerful being; but he was created too! mommapbs |

mommapbs...I have a question....How is Satan a 'powerful being'? If he can't create (which he can't) and if he has no authority over born again believers, what power does he have? Ephesians 118-22 I pray that He will give light to the eyes of your hearts, so that you will understand the hope of which He has called you, what rich glories there are in the inheritance He has promised His people, and how surpassingly great is His power working in us who trust Him. It works with the same mighty strength he used when He worked in the Messiah to raise Him from the dead and seat Him at His right hand in heaven, far above every ruler, authority, power, dominion, or any other name that can be named either in the heavens or in the earth. Also, He has put all things under His feetand made Him head over everything for the Messianic Community, which is His body, the full expression of Him who fills all creation. Also read 2:1-6 Vs. 6 That is, God raised us up with the Messiah Yeshua and seated us with Him in heaven... He is the head, and we are the body. Scripture says all principalities and powers (authorities) are under His feet, so does that not mean they are under our authority because He is the head and we are the body? I believe 2:6 bears this out because scripture says God seated us with Him..at the right hand..symbolic of authority. Do not get me wrong, I know Satan still works in the children of disobedience, and is waring against believers, but it seems the only way he can win is if we let him. I believe Satan's most powerful weapon against the body of Christ is to convince us he has ANY authority over us. Then of course, we would surrender. HOW GREAT is HIS POWER WORKING IN US... I used the "Complete Jewish Bibel" translation. What do you see in these scriptures? |

Greetings Gracefull, do not make the word powerful synonomous with the word authority. We are to be mindful of our adversary, who is likened to a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). The the lion is called the "king of beasts." Would you venture into his territory unarmed? God does not leave us unarmed either. (Eph 6) We must recognize the power of our opponent - he is a formitable adversary for he is indeed the ruler of the world,Eph 2:2; operating under the sovereign authority of God, Rom 13:1. We also anticipate the one who is coming with great wrath against us . . . "in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 2 Thess 2:9; for a short time Rev 12:12! We are also told of his ultimate destiny - the lake of fire Rev 20:10. Satan is an angelic being, and as such, he posseses powers or abilities that humans do not. Messiah Yeshua, the "God-Man," was made "a little lower than the angels." (Heb 2:7) Just as Christ relied upon God to withstand the devil's onslaught, so are believers equipped with an all surpassing power that comes from God . . . but we must choose to use it! God commands us to "put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil." Eph 6:11 I hope this clarifies my position for you. mommapbs |
