1 | Why did God allow Polygamy? | Gen 2:21 | escar.smith@yahoo.com | 236212
I think you are quoting from Genesis 1:28, the people that were created on the sixth day, these people's earthly duties were hunters and fishermen, God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. GOD blesses them and said it was very good. Genesis 2:2 GOD rested on the seventh day V.5 and God had no man to till the ground. V.7 then he forms the man Adam, the man whose lineage Christ would come. Genesis 4:19 And Lamech took two wifes the first case of polygamy documented and Genesis 9:22 And Ham the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness, which means he slept with his mother and Canaan was born. the first case of incest documented. and I don't believe it had been spoke into law as of yet.
