Perhaps He doesn't need your "help" but I think He desires something from you! When I read this verse, it reaffirms my conviction that God does it all! When I take matters into my own hands, without relying upon Him, I make a mess. This is a good reminder for me to depend upon Him! (God not only provides the sacrifice; He IS the sacrifice.) What ever God calls me to "offer", He has given . . . it really belongs to Him doesn't it? Yet, He gives me the opportunity to be blessed by obeying Him. Just some thoughts. What might God be calling you to "offer Him"? |

That's an interesting thought for someone who believes in the trinity. God is the sacrifice. Hmmm. | ||||||

What troubles you here? Jesus was the sacrifice; Jesus is God. God did for us what we could not do for ourselves. How does this change the Triune nature of God? | ||||||
