1 | Bless Israel - say "God bless Israel"? | Gen 12:3 | JdthCstl | 43230
The bible states that all the families on earth will be bless by the descendant of abram. Genesis 12:3 And Abram was one of the sons of Terah a descendant of Adam and Eve. Which I believe leads us to our Lord Jesus Christ. If Bush is a christian he will also be blessed along with all the families on earth that believe in God.

3 | What does I'll bless those who bless u | Gen 12:3 | JdthCstl | 43358
He was speaking to Abram, and through him the entire world has been blessed. The Jews think all is well between them and God because he gave his laws to them. Being a Jew is something if you obey Gods laws. You are not a real Jew because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the Jewish initiation of ceremony of circumcision. No a real Jew is anyone whose heart is right with God. Any Nation that is right with God should be blessed. Do you think the Middle East is right with God? And when will the Jews belive in Gods Son. That was one of his laws.
4 | Do you still refuse to bless Israel? | Gen 12:3 | Searcher56 | 43476
It does not matter if Israel is right with God or not ... we MUST do our part, by blessing Israel. A husband mus love his wife, even if she doesn't submit to and respect him (Eph 5:22-33). Do you agree? If one disobeys God, the other doesn't have the right to disobey gos, as well. Do you refuse to bless Israel? I bless Israel and may God bless Israel. |

You are thinking of Israel as a nation. Independant of the rest of the world. But that is not what Gods plans were. He was searching for righteous men to run the world. He destroy the earth once because the wickedness of men. And build it again through one righteous man Noah. Then when he was ready to build the nations of the world he was searching for a righteous men. Though all the offsprings of Adam and Eve were going astray he found a righteous men in Terahs son, Abram. He change his name to Abraham, And blessed him. He also told him that the entire world would be blessed because of him. And that he would be the father of many nations. So from this righteous offspring of Adam and Eve, the righteous people continue to strive, fighting all kinds of evils. Abraham then gave birth to Isaac, the promise seed, then one of Isaac sons was Jacob, whose name was change to Israel, so this line of righteous people continue, and God walk among them. Adam and Eve had other offsprings that went on their own. The other offsprings of Adam and Eve build mighty Empires, so there was conflict with the righteous people that follow God, and the ones that follow the ways of the world. But then came a time when the descendants of Abraham became very wicked, and God was very displease with them. So he abandon them, and they suffer many calamities. His plan was to prepare a Kingdom were all mankind could live in peace until the end of time. Today the Kingdom of Heaven rules, and the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord. And to him the world turns for blessings. I respect Israel but I do not worship Israel, I worship God. So if Israel needs blessings, God is the one to pray to.

7 | What does "I will bless those ..." mean? | Gen 12:3 | JdthCstl | 43595
I have tried to explain this in many different forms. And I will try it again. When God expel Adam and Eve, and Cain from the garden of Eden. They went on their own populating the world. But God kept an eye on them. When Eve gave birth to seth, then Seth had a son name Enosh, and it was at that time that men first began to call themselves THE LORDS PEOPLE. Meanwhile the other descendants of Adam and Eve were populating lands, and making their own laws. They were loyal to their leaders, not to God. Then God was ready to make a covenant with this offsprings of Adam and Eve. They were to uphold his laws forever. He tested Abram, whose name was changed later to Abraham. And found him to be loyal and true. And made the covenant with him, and his descendants. And all those who believe in him instead of the earthly rulers were to be blessed. For he was a leader of just and good persons. And the entire world would be bless because of his righteousness. So at that time God Stated as is writting in the bible. I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you. Today in the New Contract, anyone who curses Jesus is in jeopardy with God. |
