1 | Bless Israel - say "God bless Israel"? | Gen 12:3 | Searcher56 | 42281
Do you bless Israel and say and pray "God bless Israel"? Should President Bush do so? Is it politically incorrect? If so, does it matter? I've thought about this and I believe we do need to bless Israel, stand beside her and pray and say "God bless Israel" ... and that our leader needs to do the same. Searcher |

Unfortunatly The righteous man Israel once called Jacob is no longer with us. He does not need our blessings, we would need his blessings. Anyway one day he will return with Christ. As for the State Israel, I dont think God will give it its blessings. Nor will he bless the Middle East. What happen to the commandment love thy neighbor. Or though shall not kill? And as for Land, well God gave the righteous people the whole world to rule. Not just a little piece of land in the middle east. And at that time the righteous people were the descendants of Enosh. Gods first leader of his people. The world is no longer in the hands of the Jews. It is in the hands of Jesus our Lord. And it is called the house of David. And all who believe in him are part of his home which is the world. And all Nations who rule justly will never fall like the nations in the past.

5 | Bless Israel - say "God bless Israel"? | Gen 12:3 | JdthCstl | 43495
He was giving this blessings To Abram. Not to any nation. The Nation of Israel was founded in 1948. And the blessings to Abram, were giving when the offspings of Adam and Eve were populating the world. What more blessings do the righteous people of the past need. When God himself walk among them. And help them in everything. And was with them for many generations. We had the Lord for a short time. Though he guides us from Heaven.

Makarios, it appears to me that what your correspondent is saying is that we should go fishing until the middle of July and then celebrate Christmas early this year. But I'm not sure. --Hank

Hi Hank, check out the last part of my thread just above yours, I think that might be the answer to all the confusion and lack of Scripture in someone's answers. CDBJ
9 | Bless Israel - say "God bless Israel"? | Gen 12:3 | Hank | 43509
Hi to you, CDBJ. "lack of Scripture in someone's answers" .... Scripture? The Bible? Are you actually implying, CDBJ, that the Bible (that old book!) is more authoritative than the shoot-from-the-hip opinions of the abundant staff of seers and spiritual divines with which our beloved forum is blessed? Surely you jest. Whoever heard of using such a thing as the Bible on a StudyBibleForum :-) By the way, I liked your post to which you referred me. --Hank
