1 | Love God, His word, any difference? | Ps 95:10 | Ray | 153279 | ||
Hi Lionstrong, Your question is of course whether there is a difference between the "word" and the "Word". And I would say that of course there is a difference. John 1:1 literally says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was the Word." Thus God is not the word, the Holy Bible; rather, the Word was God. John 1:14, "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.." The Scriptures, whether papyrus, leather, or paper are not flesh. [But I would say that they are spirit]. 1 John 4:2b says, "...every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God." ***** We have His word(s) that we hope will lead to eternal life, but "the life of the world is My flesh", John 6:51. And yes, I see a difference between the bread of life and the Bread of life. John 6:48. From the heart, Ray |
