lefty1941 A Christian wedding is the making of a covenant between a man, a women and God. It makes no sense for non believers to make such a covenant if they don't believe in God. It becomes a mockery of those that hold precious and holy that covenant. Therefore a minister should not participate. To answer your question is there a particular passage that says a minister should not marry a non believing couple, no there is not. However there are many passages that say in that say keep Holy that which is Holy. EdB |
