greetings in the name of the LORD JESUS;( i read the question wrong, after i wrote most of this post, i thought you asked should he marry an unbeliever and a christian sorry but i still want to post this answer in case someone else may find it useful sorry) i am not sure if the bible says that specificly or not, but in 2 corinithians 6 vrs14-18" do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership does righteousness and lawlessness, orwhat fellowship light with darkness? or what harmony has CHRIST with belial or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?(nasb) think about this; do you know any christian who dates or marries an un believer and say that they will change them and all to often it is the believer is the one who changes? most if not all the time it has happened this way(at least in people i know) it is called compromise and we as believers are to avoid it at all cost, even if it means hurting or losing a person we are in love with. i do not know if this applies or not, but if we look to the parable of the sower and the seeds Matt13. the seeds sowned among thorns he hears the word the thorns grow and choke the Word. why? the cares of this world. so to get back to your question should a minister marry nonbelievers? don't know but i will try to get back on this one. my opinion is no, no, no, but it happens all the time im sure. my opinion can not even come close to scripture so keep it at that it will be interesting to search it up. | ||||||
