1 | Where is "You shall be known as you are | 1 Corinthians | Aixen7z4 | 120188 | ||
The passage is 1 Corinthians 13, but the topic of heaven is not what is being discussed at all. Bearing in mind the subject matter being discussed in the context, the immaturity of the Corinthian church and their improper view and use of gifts, we may decide that he is simply saying that our view of ourselves changes as we mature as a church. When we are children in the faith we do not see the picture clearly. Thus, childlike, we may think that everyone in the church has the same gift and function. When we are mature, we come to see the entire body the way God sees it, with all of the gifts recognized and functioning. |
