1 | Torn veil of Mat 15.38 the literal veil? | Matthew | KcabmI4 | 212688
Hello graftedin Everything from beginning to end in this question is speculation. Both "A" and "B" Would it not be a reasonable assumption that it would not have to be recorded in extrabiblical records for it to be true? Although Chiapas might not have wanted anything that might have been in connection with the Death of Jesus recorded in any Jewish records. But it might be recorded in the records of the Temple for restoring the veil in its proper state. A remaking of it according to the biblical quidelines and qualifications for the standard that God required. Are there not records from both the first and second Temple and the artisans that made the pieces that were to be used in the Temple? Maby the same exist for the restoration of pieces as when the people returned to rebuild after they went to Babylon Ezra 3:7 Ezra 5:2 Jesus is "OUR" Veil. For "WE" are the Temple of God the Veil of our hearts has been torn in two. The Veil that seperated us from God "OUR SINFULL FLESH "Which was torn for us in the body of Jesus Christ. Granting unto us free access to the Father through Him Alone. In Genesis 3:24 we are told 24--- So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. There were Cherubims on the Veil which is to us a Literal depiction of the seperation between Man and God because of Sin. The Messiah will return through the Eastern Gate (our heart) where the Cherubims were placed to protect the tree of life. Jesus is this Tree of Life. If we eat of this Tree His flesh John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. We gain Eternal Life. Revelation 22:14 When it comes to beleaving if it should be taken as literal. That is your personal beleaf, it all comes down to Faith. There are things that are not explained in the Bible about things in the Bible. That we just need to believe. Blessings KcabmI4 |

2 | Torn veil of Mat 15.38 the literal veil? | Matthew | DocTrinsograce | 212690
Dear Kcabm14... We might say that the rent in the veil is Christ Himself (Hebrews 10:20). We have no Scriptural authority to allegorize beyond that -- popular thought it may be. In Him, Doc |
