1 When did God change "mode" of baptism? Bible general Archive 1 Taleb 77186
When did God change the "mode" of baptism today from what it was in Moses’ day, and John the Baptist’s day? Seeing immersion (mikvah) still hasn’t changed for the Jews since it was instituted about the time of their exodus from Egypt.

2 Rebuild a Temple? Bible general Archive 1 Taleb 78710
Where does Scripture prophesy the rebuilding of a temple in Israel, other than those which have ALREADY been fulfilled?
3 Why weren't Jesus' answers the same? Matt 19:16 Taleb 73118
Why did Jesus' answers varied when asked the same question? In Matt. 19:16, the rich man asked him, "What must I do to inherit eternal life? In Luke 10:25, a lawyer asked him the same thing. Jesus told the rich man to sell all and give to the poor and then follow him. He told the lawyer to love his neighbor as himself.
4 Why did Jesus say "never again?" Matt 24:21 Taleb 78675
IF the great tribulation is yet to come right before the end of the world, why did Jesus say, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be?” If time is to end at the end of the tribulation – why the emphasis that there won’t be anymore that could compare with it?
5 Faith, hope, love - which is the least? 1 Cor 13:13 Taleb 72334
With all the debating about "faith-healing", I must ask a question that helps put that teaching in proper perspective. In 1 Cor. 13:13 we find, "...but remains faith, hope and love, these three things and the greater of these is love."

If love is the last in the list, yet listed as the greatest of the three, which is the least?

If hope is the least, why didn't Paul list it hope, faith love? If faith is the least, why all the fuss? Why not do as the author of Hebrews exhorted in Heb 6:1? "Leaving the elementary doctrines of Christ, let us go on unto maturity; not laying again the foundations of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God ..."

Love you, Taleb
6 Why is 2 Thess. 2:7 mis-translated? 2 Thess 2:7 Taleb 73125
Why do the Bible translators mis-translate 2 Thess 2:7? In every Greek translation I have, it reads, "For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is holding back now till OUT OF THE MIDST IT COMES”. But the way it’s translated into English, it says "until he is taken away”. The “Strong” numbers 3319 and 1096 spell out exactly what the Greek renders.

It makes a big difference.
7 Rebuild a Temple? Rev 11:1 Taleb 78706
Where does Scripture prophesy the rebuilding of a temple in Israel, other than those which have ALREADY been fulfilled?
