1 | God's should be revealed in him | Bible general Archive 4 | EdB | 237545
I agree God can be using us even when we are totally unaware of it and even when we are in a coma. But I did include a caveat in both situations I stipulated for the person in first example there was a reasonable expectation of the recovery. Likewise in the second situation all reasonable expectations were exhausted and medically there was no valid hope for any sort of recovery. While life is very precious I think we often forget that we all are going to die. That this is not our home and that we are just aliens passing through. This is clearly seen in Hebrews 11:13-16 (NLT) … They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own... But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. |

I concur. Thank you. I think (1 Peter 3:15 ASV Is misunderstood and used to give excuses for some to argue a position of interpretation. Rather than focusing on the Joy we have in Christ Jesus and what he has prepared for us. Colossians 1:5 NIV 1 Thessalonians 2:19 NIV give similar perspectives. Do you agree? |

Yes I do agree. Our hope is the second coming of Christ to take us home to be with Him for eternity.
