Actually "Justme" wasn't the only one that felt that website was a bad. The website supports doctrine that is in direct conflict with orthodox Christianity, the Bible, and the teachings of Jesus and I thought it was so obvious that it didn't need to be said. However it apparently does, that "cool website" is theologically wrong. EdB |

Matthew 3:16-17 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. [17] And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." That is a living example of the Godhead showing the three persons that make it up. Not one as your website incorrectly claims. EdB |

First of all that had to happen because there had to be a divine revelation to them that Jesus was the Messiah. If you read my older notes you'll see that I have PLENTY more scripture to back me up. If you still have a problem with it after this rather than take up all this space e-mail me punkiedo_01@comcast.net Further more these are just some of many: John 10 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. John 14 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Ephesians 4 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and (AND in GREEK is also translated EVEN) Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Deuteronomy 6 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And My Personal FAVORITE: Job 9 8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. (Jesus was the wave walker!!!!) If you still have an argument with this take it up with God. He wrote it. Not me. God said it that settles it whether we believe it or not. |

That is right there is only one God but three members of the Godhead. Father Son and Holy Ghost all three manifested at one time with Jesus in the water the Holy Spirit upoin Him as a dove adn the Father in Heaven saying this is my Son in whom I'm well pleased. That is traditional orthodox Christianity. No I don't have a problem with it that website does. EdB |

If you believe that God created the heavens and the earth or that Jonah was swallowed by a whale then you have to believe the bible when it says: Colossians 2:9 "For in Him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Furthermore, when mary was found with child who's child was she found with? Matthew 1:18 she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. You can't keep it straight first you say three then you say one which is it make up your mind. 1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Here the Scriptures says that God was received up into Glory, not the second person in the godhead, but God Himself! John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. When Jesus declared this statement, He made Himself God! 1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and (once again AND in GREEK is also translated EVEN) one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all..." Anyways, Jesus is God. You can give all the scriptures that you think you have, and I can tell you exactly what they are. Jesus proclaimed himself God when he forgave sins. AND FOR THE LAST TIME the Trinity of the Godhead was considered heresy until the council of Nicaea in 325 AD and The council of Constantanople in 381 AD. At which point the apostle's teachings and the old testament teachings of one God were said to be wrong. And you keep saying this is Orthodox. Have you ever talked to a greek orthodox believer? I have had the pleasure of being aquainted with a greek orthodox believer. And upon talking to him he said something very intersting. He is from Greece originally and has been all over Europe and I had asked him about Michael Angelo and the paintings that he has done (he's also a painter btw) and he got angry and said "NO Michael angelo painted God as three persons on 1, that is not what the bible says." Upon delving into the word in original Greek you find a deeper richer meaning. Which BTW most Greek Orthodox believers believe also in "Glossalalia" or speaking in tongues as we call it. |

Hi, punkiedo; I was curious to know if your Greek painter's views were consistent with the doctrine of the Greek Orthodox Church, so I turned to Google. My search for "greek orthodox trinity" turned up so many websites with the name "Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church/Cathedral" that I didn't bother to continue my investigation. I suspect that your Greek Orthodox believer was somewhat unorthodox in his beliefs. Peace and grace, Steve aka Indiana Jones |
