Greetings Renovate Me! It would be up to the leadership of each church as to their view of AA. For what it is worth, here is my view. AA was started by a Christian. I don't personally like the term 'higher power', but this group is made up of people who are 'pre-evangelized' in the sense that they are receptive to spiritual things and aware of their sinfulness. Thus, I would allow the use of our building so that I might be allowed the opportunity to introduce them to Who that 'higher power' really is. Remember Paul at Mars Hill? He could have confronted them about their idolatry. However, he choose to introduce them to the 'unknown god'. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Tim I actually know a man that got thrown out of AA because he told them he was cured. He told them he found Jesus and Jesus cured him, he was no longer an alcoholic. They threw him out which was okay since he was cured and didn't need them anymore. Has a very nice family with some beautiful children. Been sober for the last 15-20 years and still loves Jesus.
