1 | Was the thief on the cross baptised? | NT general Archive 1 | Bruce Killian | 176688
No and Yes. There are two additional forms of Baptism, Baptism of desire and Baptism of blood. If one dies or is martyred while "awaiting" baptism, one is considered baptized. In Acts 1:22 a qualification for an apostle required baptism by John. On the day of Pentecost all were baptized Acts 2:41. In John 1 John, Andrew, Peter, James, Philip and Nathanael were disciples of John the Baptist so would have been baptized.
